2019 Fortnite World Cup champion Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf will join alongside professional athletes like Ninja and Lebron James, as a customizable Fortnite skin for gamers to show off with. The skins will be released July 20th with several variations of Bugha including the outfit he wore the day he won the 2019 World Cup. Items such as the Bugha Battle Axe and Bring it on Emote will be added. The Icon skin series now hosts Bugha, Ninja, Major Lazer, Lazerbeam, Lachlan, Travis Scott, LoserFruit, Marshmello, and TheGrefg.

Bugha won the first Fortnite World Cup Champion in New York in 2019. Due to Covid, Epic Games canceled last year’s tournament.

It was announced there will be no one this year either. The question many fans want to know is how Bugha will rank in next year’s competition, assuming it will resume after a long wait of anticipation.

On Monday, an emotional Bugha announced to his 100,000 Twitch followers on a live stream about this new development in the Fortnite world. An excited over-joyed Bugha has expressed his gratitude to his Twitch followers and Fortnite for making this possible. This new development in the Fortnite world has many looking forward to a new tournament.

Additionally, competitive gamers should be hyped in anticipation of the “Bugha’s Late Game Tournament” on July 28th. To qualify Epic has put in a new game mode from July 20th to July 28th which contenders can play with the chance to qualify for the July 28th tournament.
