The International Esports Federation (IESF) has announced that seven more member nations have joined its ranks, taking the grand total to 100 participants.
The new nations come from South America, Asia and Europe, as the esports federations of Venezuela, Cambodia, Bahrain, Laos, Estonia, Hungary and Wales officially join the IESF.
The announcement continues the development of IESF’s profile, with the federation slowly adding to its ranks over the last decade after being founded back in 2008 by just nine-member nations from Europe and Asia.
After 12 years of history, the IESF has reached 100 member nations and promises to continue its expansion, as the federation still looks to expand its current portfolio into new territories.
Mr. Boban Totovski, IESF Director of Memberships commented in a release on the organisation’s website: “Our family continues to grow globally and we reached almost a hundred members worldwide.
“A warm welcome and lots of good wishes on becoming part of our growing family on behalf of all the members. We promise to continuously cooperate and support our members for the betterment of esports.”
IESF will continue its mission to create a thriving esports ecosystem globally where growth can be enhanced for both large esports economies and grassroots-level nations.
The federation’s continued growth is accredited to the organisation’s ability to deliver benefits to its members, provide continuous and sustainable World Championships events, and host its ‘Global Esports Executive Summit’.
Esports Insider Says: The International Esports Federation continues to grow, and one hundred members is a fantastic achievement. No doubt it has been working hard to achieve this goal since it’s creation in 2008, and hopefully, this expansion shows no sign of slowing down as the federation continues to expand alongside the growth of the esports ecosystem.
