Missouri-based esports organisation Kansas City Pioneers has partnered with social media analytics firm Zoomph.
Through this partnership, the KC Pioneers will gain access to audience insights, logo detection, social analytics, and sponsorship tracking to ‘gain a better understanding of the value derived from their fans, content, players, and teams’.
Per a release, the KC Pioneers plan to convert data from Zoomph into ‘meaningful and actionable insights’ for their current and future gamers, content creators, and partners.
Kansas City Pioneers Founder and CEO Mark Josey commented: “We are extremely excited to partner with Zoomph to help create better omnichannel experiences for our brand partners.
“As we continue to scale and compete at the highest levels in front of fans across the world, it is critical we understand how to optimize current and future inventory assets to provide true value to our existing and new partners.”
Zoomph Co-Founder Nick Cronin added: “The Pioneers are another fantastic addition to our growing esports network, we are always looking for new, passionate, and fun brands to work with. We hope to provide added value to new partnerships and their fan experience through our platform as they continue to grow across social media.”
Zoomph’s partnership with KC Pioneers is just one of several made over the past year. Additional organisations now using the service include the Pittsburgh Knights, Team Liquid, Atlanta Esports Ventures (Atlanta Reign, Atlanta FaZe), Misfits Gaming Group, Immortals Gaming Club, and ORDER.
Esports Insider says: Social media has never been more important for esports organisations – or any organisation these days, for that matter. For marketers and influencers, accurate data is worth its weight in gold when it comes to strategic agility and a better understanding of the communities they are trying to reach. Based on all the recent Zoomph partnerships, it’s probably safe to say that esports organisations are in agreement with this priority.
