New in the IGN Store: Exclusive Fantasian Apparel

Japanese game developer Mistwalker and the IGN Store have teamed up to introduce an exclusive line of apparel with designs from Fantasian, the JRPG from Hironobu Sakaguchi. Both Fantasian and its second half are now available on Apple Arcade, but these designs are only available at the IGN Store.

Check out the gallery below to see this exclusive merch:

The first part of Fantasian released on Apple Arcade in April of 2021, followed by the second half on August 13, a day earlier than originally planned. First announced during the Apple Arcade presentation in 2019, the game's backgrounds were created entirely by hand. Rather than renders, they're computer scans of actual, 3D-built miniature worlds.

Creator Hironobu Sakaguchi said the decision to create the worlds physically as opposed to digitally meant the game "shouldn't exist." The dioramas were scanned with the same processes used in drone scans of actual cities.

These Fantasian designs, as well as the games, are available now.
